Settlements

Hajdú-Bihar County is considered one of most urbanized county. There is a high proportion of towns (out of 82 settlements of the county excluding Debrecen, there is 20 settlements with town status). On the other hand the density of settlements is low, because of the proportion of settlements with large area and high population density.
