In 2018, there were 113 elementary education institutions in Hajdú-Bihar county in 177 locations. The highest number of elementary education institutions are located in the county seat. However, from the labor market point of view, it is mainly those who leave secondary and higher education institutions that are decisive. The education system in both the middle and higher levels is extensive in the county, and it can provide a wide range of vocational training courses, and the role of dual training is also increasing. The two vocational training centers (Berettyóújfalui Vocational Training Center, Debrecen Vocational Training Center) can cover the needs of potential investor groups or cover them with cooperative and dual training. In addition, the University of Debrecen can provide a labor supply base that potential investors can build onto. In the county, there are two state-recognized higher education institutions (universities), the University of Debrecen, and a not-state university, the Reformed Church University of Debrecen, both have a seat in Debrecen. The training structure of the University of Debrecen is wide, with 14 faculties available to students, and the number of students based on the March 2019 data was 24.500 students.

In October 2018, 21 professional groups were available within school-based education. Most students in the county (14.57%) have studied the profession of the Tourism and Catering courses from the available vocational training, and 9 subprofessions have been taught within this profession group. It was enabled to almost 1,480 students. The second most populous profession is the Mechanical Engineering, where there were 1.230 students (12.2%) in 13 different subprofessions. The third most populous professional training was the Trade and Marketing course, where more than 1.000 people (9.98%) can acquire a profession in one of the 6 subprofessions taught. The Economic Group of 7.6% also be highlighted.
